“Elements in Conversation” an Abstract Art Painting

Elements in Conversation — Contemporary Abstract Geometric Art

Elements in Conversation is a vibrant contemporary abstract painting built around the basic elements of art — line, shape, colour, value, texture and space.

Bold circles, sweeping curves, strong diagonals and layered geometric forms create a dynamic composition filled with movement and contrast. Deep blues, teal and green provide structure, while gold, yellow, orange and red introduce warmth and energy. Silver and cream areas add further contrast and texture.

The painting was created alongside the blog article “The Elements of Art: What Every Composition Is Made From”, exploring how simple visual ingredients can interact to create balance, emphasis, movement, rhythm and unity.

Rather than representing a specific subject, Elements in Conversation focuses on the relationships between forms. Large and small shapes overlap, colours compete and connect, and curved lines move through the composition, creating a sense of visual dialogue.

This abstract painting is an original work by Clements McCulloch.
The piece is available as a canvas framed print.

You can choose various sizes of canvas framed prints (limited editions) using the drop-down menu below.

All our Canvas Prints are printed onto 280gsm canvas material and professionally hand stretched over solid pine stretcher frames. This gives a wonderful finish to the print of the original painting.
